On 20 July 1994, YICT welcomed the first line-haul container vessel, the Maersk Algeciras, thus officially commencing terminal operations. During the last 15 years of its history, YICT has grown from a terminal known only to a few into the worldĄŻs largest container terminal managed by a single port operator. Yet today, YICT continues its commitment to becoming a world-class port.
To mark the 15-year anniversary of its launch, YICT organised a series of activities so everyone can share in the celebrations.
