Shenzhen Port Pilot Station provides pilotage service for all vessels arriving at and departing from Yantian Port.

The station is the only piloting agency operating at Shenzhen Port. It operates under the Bureau of Communications of Shenzhen Municipality (Ports Administration of Shenzhen Municipality). At present, the station has 74 pilots and is capable of piloting various vessels including non-motor vessels, specialised vessels and mega vessels in all weathers and various other conditions. In accordance with terminal operations, the Pilot Station is committed to offering round-the-clock service.
