YICT Welcomes First Call of New Yantian-Haiphong Service

On 15 March 2014, the Lian Feng made its inaugural call at YICT, marking the launch of a new Yantian-Haiphong service (SVG). Operated by China United Lines, the new service provides a direct and efficient inbound and outbound transportation route for cargo owners in South China.
The new service follows a rotation of Yantian–Hong Kong–Haiphong: two vessels depart from Yantian Port and Haiphong Port every week, and call at Yantian every Friday. The launch of the new service will meet the growing transportation demand for imports and exports between South China and Vietnam.
