Shenzhen Pilot Station provides pilotage service for all vessels arriving at and departing from Yantian Port.

Shenzhen Pilot Station is the one and the only piloting institution in Shenzhen Port. It operates under the Transport Committee of Shenzhen Municipality (Ports Administration of Shenzhen Municipality). At present, the station has 59 pilots and is capable of piloting various vessels including non-motor vessels, specialised vessels and super mega-vessels in all weathers and various other conditions. In accordance with terminal operations, the Pilot Station is committed to offering round-the-clock service.
