On 21 June 2007, YICT welcomed the maiden vessel call of "Xin Qin Huang Dao" deployed by China Shipping Container Line (CSCL) to its new US service, the Asia America South 2 (AAS2) Service.
The AAS2 service calls at Yantian every Friday with nine 5,688-TEU container vessels deployed to the line-haul route, which includes now a port rotation of Hong Kong, Yantian, Busan, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Oakland.
