From 27 July to 14 August, 2015, YICT held its ninth summer internship for students from Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and Shenzhen University (SZU). Twenty-four students took part in the programme, conducting fieldwork and analysing case studies. At the end of the programme, the students gave presentations on their projects to a panel of judges from YICT and the two universities, including Patrick Lam, Managing Director of YICT, Shan Hongjun, Deputy Headmaster of DMU and Xu Chen, Deputy Headmaster of SZU.

During these three weeks, the students learned about terminal operations and business management. They experienced YICT’s corporate culture via interactions with their tutors and YICT staff and also by participating in the cheer-up activity during the terminal’s peak operating season.
