YICT Volunteers Celebrate Seniors’ Day with Elderly Residents

On 21 October 2015, YICT volunteers attended a party to celebrate Seniors’ Day with the elderly residents of the Yantian District Welfare Centre. In addition to their warm greetings, YICT staff brought blankets as gifts for the residents. This day was also the 100th birthday of Ms Zhang Lei, a resident of the Centre. The volunteers conveyed birthday greetings to her and wished all of the seniors longevity, health and happiness. YICT volunteers received a plaque from the Centre in honour of their continual support for the social welfare of the community.
