YANTIAN Welcomes A New Service to the West Coast of the US

On 14 July 2020, with the call of “MSC SOLA”, YANTIAN welcomed another service (USWC6) to the West Coast of the US. Till now, there are a total of 44 European and US services calling at YANTIAN, ranking first in Southern China in terms of the number of weekly services.

The USWC6 is operated by 2M Alliance, with vessels jointly deployed by MSC and Maersk. It takes only about 15 days from YANTIAN to Long Beach, which is quite competitive in the market. During its inaugural call at YANTIAN, about 5,800 TEU were handled. The new service calls at YANTIAN every Tuesday, following a port rotation of Long Beach, Yantian, Ningbo and Long Beach.

Currently, there are approximately 100 shipping services calling at YANTIAN on a weekly basis, providing more flexible choices for cargo owners to ship their cargoes around the world.
