Nancy XuManager – Learning & Development
The beauty of YICT unfolds under the azure sky, amidst the sparkling, blue bay. A world-class container terminal, YICT's charm and liveliness provides ample opportunities for staff growth. Since joining the company in 2006, I have been fortunate to hold three different posts: people development, business development, and corporate communications—all of which have been challenging and highly beneficial. YICT is still young, and it remains the dream company for many who are committed to the shipping industry.

The words "nothing is impossible" truly apply to people development at YICT. Since joining as an entry-level staff member in 1994, some 20 years ago, I have systematically taken part in the probation programmes for team leaders, superintendents, duty managers, and the Accelerated Development Programme (ADP). If this open and transparent talent management system had not existed, I would not be the person I am today. This is no fable torn from the pages of the Arabian Nights. This is what really happens at YICT. If you are a self-motivated person with a strong sense of responsibility, then YICT will help you develop your strengths and reach your potential.
