On 22 July 2014, YICT released over 0.57 million fingerlings into the waters of the port.

On 22 July 2014, YICT, together with Yantian Port Group, released over 0.57 million fingerlings into its surrounding waters at the Mirs Bay. The event, which began in 2009 and is now in its sixth year, has seen over 45 million fish and shrimp fingerlings released into the waters of the port, highlighting YICT’s commitment to its “Green Port” practice.
