The two consuls were impressed by YANTIAN's hyperscale and busy operation as the world's largest single container terminal, and looking forward to strengthen cooperation so that more high-quality products from Argentina, such as frozen meat, fruits and other agricultural products, could be exported to China via YANTIAN, while helping Argentine enterprises to gain more benefits.

Now there are about 100 international services connecting YANTIAN to the world, making YANTIAN the hub port for popular goods imported from America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Two out of 5 existing weekly Central and South American services, call the Port of Buenos Ares of Argentina. These rapid and stable services are the preferred routes for Argentine products to be exported to South China, while the direct weekly services from Chile's Port of Valparaiso and Port of SAN Antonio to YANTIAN rapidly bring along delicious South American tropical fruits as well. In this year's cherry season, YANTIAN welcomed the first cherry direct express, and with the full cooperation of all parties, containers were able to leave the terminal within 10 minutes after unloading from the vessel, accelerating the delivery of fresh fruits directly to the market as fast as possible.

As the largest frozen meat import port in South China and the most important port of choice for the import and export of cold chain goods, YANTIAN is now equipped with 4,000 reefer plugs in the terminal yard dedicated for cold chain products, and there are 2 Customs examination centers and 6 cold storages with a total capacity of about 200,000 ton for the comprehensive end-to-end services of fresh and frozen food to the people in the Greater Bay Area and even the whole country.

In the future, YANTIAN will combine the Customs measures for improving quality and efficiency, integrate resources, and develop more import services to build Yantian Port Area to be a versatile cold chain logistics service complex with dense and stable shipping services and efficient customs clearance in South China, to contribute to the vigorous development of China's import trade.
