On 11 May 2023, the 7th Shenzhen International Brand Week and the launch ceremony of the "Escort" plan for high-quality e-commerce specialist development was held in YANTIAN.

China's cross-border e-commerce industry has grown significantly over the past several years. The Chinese Government has always attached great importance to the development of this industry and consistently supports Chinese enterprises to go global. In recent years, cross-border e-commerce has been a critical engine supporting the international trade of China, ushering in a digital transformation of the entire value chain and greatly changing the trade industry.

Zeng Jianpeng stated that Yantian District will integrate its cross-border e-commerce resources and promote multi-party cooperation to facilitate cross-border e-commerce business. Together with the SZCBEA, it will also establish an e-commerce specialist training college and invite more companies to engage. Multiple youth e-commerce training bases will be built to cultivate talent for intelligent logistics, store operations, and SKU management. In terms of industry policy support and business environment, Yantian District will provide comprehensive talent support services for e-commerce enterprises. "We also welcome business friends to invest and develop in Yantian District for a robust e-commerce ecosystem and win-win cooperation which 'gather talent through prosperous production, use talent to promote production, and achieve synergistic growth of talent and production', driving high-quality industrial development," said Zeng.

Through the joint efforts of all parties, the "Escort" plan for cross-border e-commerce specialists was officially launched, and the Strategic Partnership Agreement on the High-Quality Development and Conformity Operations of Cross-Border E-Commerce Enterprises was signed and an appeal was read out. Additionally, the Whitepaper on Cross-Border E-Commerce Industry Risk Control: Cross-Border E-Commerce Logistics Section was also released at the meeting. As the opening chapter, this section compares the advantages and disadvantages of various logistics methods, combined with the characteristics, types, and practical needs of cross-border products, allowing cross-border enterprises to choose the optimal logistics channel for international trade.
