In response to the theme of the 2025 National Safe Production Month, “Safety awareness for all, emergency readiness for everyone—Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us”, and aligned with the safe production policy of “Safety First, Prevention Foremost, Comprehensive Management”, YANTIAN has launched a series of safe production activities.
Strengthening the Safety Barrier—More Than Just an Event
YANTIAN Safey Production Management Committee integrates safety awareness into the very fabric of port operations — from strategic decisions at the top to practical execution on the frontline. With full engagement from all employees, the company cultivates a culture of "Safety Begins with Me", strengthening every layer of the port's safety defences. This Safe Production Month is more than a campaign; it is a profound deepening of the company's safety culture.
Authoritative Insights, Firm Accountability
YANTIAN invited Duan Xiaorui, member of the expert panel for dangerous goods under the Ministry of Transport, to provide an in-depth interpretation on "Implementing the Responsibility System for Safe Production Among All Employees". The session reinforced management accountability with nearly 100 senior and mid-level managers in attendance, including members of the Safety Production Management Committee, department heads, and leaders of high-risk operation contractors. Covering topics from risk anticipation to emergency command, the lecture strengthened managers' safety leadership and firmly embedded "Safety First" as the core principle in decision-making.

Digital Enablement: The "Safety Online" Intelligent Platform
With enhanced accountability at all levels, safety is no longer an empty slogan. In response, YANTIAN upgraded its digital management platform to embed safety empowerment everywhere. The "Safety Online" platform integrates safety training and education, legal and regulatory references, and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) retrieval into a single intelligent online system.
· Recognised by government authorities, the platform synchronises online and offline training records seamlessly.
· It provides quick access to laws, regulations, and standards with real-time updates.
· It enables fast retrieval of MSDS, offering authoritative support for managing dangerous goods safely.

From Awareness to Action: Embedding Safety in Every Heart
Innovative Campaigns to Elevate Safety Awareness
Safety Micro-Drama (Short Video) Contest: Breaking away from boring lectures, staff of YANTIAN took charge—writing, directing, and starring in their own creative safety videos. This fresh approach deepened safety awareness, transforming participants into passionate "Safety Ambassadors", and significantly enhancing the impact of safety education.
⭐Over the course of the event, these "Safety Ambassadors" submitted 114 entries highlighting safety scenarios from frontline operations and office environments to high-altitude work. The first-place winner, "The Reckless Little Tyrant", cleverly and humorously illustrated the consequences of neglecting safety in the port, earning widespread acclaim and delivering a strong cautionary message. These engaging stories not only boosted educational effectiveness but also fostered a shift from mere knowledge to active practice — making safety a lived experience rather than just a set of rules.

Hands-On Drills to Forge Stronger Emergency Response Capabilities
YANTIAN has carried out a series of multi-scenario emergency drills—ranging from hazardous chemical leaks to major equipment failures—to rigorously test employees' emergency handling skills. Moving beyond "simulations" to realistic "live drills", these exercises ensure every team member responds faster and acts more decisively when emergencies arise. The purpose goes beyond skill development: it's about fostering a deep-seated confidence to say, "I can stay safe" under pressure, embedding safety as a core part of the company's DNA. This represents a vital evolution from "I want to be safe" to "I am able to be safe".
