On January 15, 2026, the 2026 Cross-Border E-commerce Industry Data Report Conference, hosted by the Shenzhen Cross-Border E-commerce Association, was successfully held.
The conference brought together more than 7,000 participants from across the entire cross-border e-commerce chain, including platforms, leading sellers, procurement and supply-chain enterprises, logistics and warehousing providers, and financial and payment institutions. Over 100 industry experts convened to release the latest full-chain industry data and provide in-depth trend analysis, making the event a key platform for industry dialogue, collaboration, and shared growth. As a critical node in the global supply chain, YANTIAN was invited to deliver a keynote address and share insights. Notably, it remains the only port enterprise to have been invited for five consecutive years.

The strong momentum of Shenzhen's cross-border e-commerce sector offers a compelling illustration of the resilience and vitality of China's foreign trade. As a world-class maritime hub, YANTIAN provides essential support for the sustained growth of cross-border e-commerce.

In his address, Lawrence Shum, Managing Director of Hutchison Ports YANTIAN, noted that Shenzhen will host the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in November 2026. In the first three quarters of 2025, China's total imports and exports with other APEC economies reached CNY19.41 trillion, up 2% year on year and accounting for 57.8% of the country's total foreign trade. These figures underscore the APEC region's role as a cornerstone of stability and growth in China's foreign trade landscape. As the preferred port for cross-border e-commerce in South China and the Honorary President Organization of SZCBEA Yantian Branch, YANTIAN will continue to work in close partnership with the Association and industry stakeholders. By leveraging its global connectivity and bridge-building role, the port will actively contribute policy insights and practical solutions, strengthen coordination among government authorities, customs, industry associations, and enterprises, and further optimise the cross-border e-commerce business environment, supporting the high-quality development of China's foreign trade and advancing deeper global economic and trade integration.
