On 2 March 2010, a Beijiao-Yantian Shuttle Feeder operated by Wenco Shipping (HK) Ltd. began operating at YICT. The service includes two barges which depart from Yantian Port and Beijiao Port respectively every day from Monday to Saturday, taking 15 to 16 hours for a single trip. Beijiao Port is the main river port of Shunde, an electronics and furniture hub near Guangzhou and Foshan.
Seven feeder services now connect Yantian to ports in the western Pearl River Delta. By using these services, shippers can benefit from the convenience and cost-effectiveness of barge transport, in addition to batch transport, declaration and clearance at Yantian's Dapeng Customs.
