On 15 December 2009, Yantian Port Group and Yantian International Container Terminals jointly established the Yantian Port International Information Co., Ltd (YPI). YPI will provide customers with a wide range of logistics information via its secure and highly efficient electronic platform. Users will be able to track their cargo anytime and anywhere, conduct online customs declaration and clearance, and perform online transactions. YPI aims to improve the overall efficiency and competitiveness of the local logistics industry.
