On 12 May 2009, the Philippine Feeder 5 (PH5) Service, a new Asian service operated by Maersk, made its first call at Yantian. The service is the first Asian market collaboration between Maersk and Mercantile Cargo Consolidators Transport Singapore.
The Ulrike F, the service's only vessel, calls at Yantian every Tuesday and follows a port rotation of Manila, Yantian, Kaohsiung and Manila.
