On 9 April 2009, the Shenzhen Federation of Trade Unions (SFTU) held a conference in which it recognised the financial work accomplishments of its member units.
Due to its standardised and performance-oriented work, the YICT Labour Union was recognised as an Advanced Unit in terms of Financial Work for 2007-2008 and received the top grade in the SFTU's appraisal of its financial work in 2008. Two YICT staff members, Li Qingqing and Wang Xilin, were honoured as Model Workers in Financial Work Performance for 2007-2008.
