On 19 December 2008, YICT was named a "National Excellent Taxpaying, Import and Export Performance Enterprise with Foreign Investment" for 2007 by China's Ministry of Commerce and the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment.
The award is given to foreign-invested enterprises that have shown superior economic performance, especially in terms of annual turnover, tax payment and corporate social responsibility. YICT also received the award for the years 2004 to 2006.
