On 16 September 2007, YICT welcomed the new Far East/Mediterranean Service from MSC, the MJAD service (also known as the Jade service). Departing from South China and Southeast Asia, it takes 22 days to journey from Yantian to Valencia, which is the only port of call in Europe for this service.

MSC has deployed a total of eight 6,724-TEU container vessels to the route, two of which have been launched only recently. The MJAD service calls at Yantian every Saturday, following a port rotation of Jeddah, Singapore, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Singapore and Valencia.
