On 24 September 2003, Mr. Tang Longjun, Director of Dapeng Customs, chaired an on-site meeting at YICT. There were discussions among Customs, Yantian Port Group (YPG) and YICT on issues including the examination and acceptance of Phase III's First Berth, its 40,000-m2 container yard and supervision of the terminal. Mr. Tang remarked that Customs would be well prepared for the examination and acceptance to ensure the new berth commences operations according to schedule.
