On 13 August 2003, a state-of-the-art crane simulator purchased from the United States was delivered to YICT. Used for training quay crane and RTGC operators, the simulator is able to simulate a variety of operational situations. The simulator will provide trainees with valuable experience to further improve efficiency at the terminal.
To further support the training of YICT's crane operators, the terminal also purchased a cell guide mock-up. This is the first such training equipment to be used in Shenzhen.
