On 18 January, YICT was named as one of the 100 Model Enterprises in terms of harmonious employee-employer relations by the Guangdong Provincial Government. YICT is the only enterprise from Shenzhen's industrial and traffic sections that has been granted this title. At the honouring ceremony, Wang Yang, Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and Huang Huahua, Guangdong Provincial Governor met the enterprise representatives.
