UA Launches Another US Service at YICT

On 10 March 2002, "Hanjin Paris" under Hanjin, a member of United Alliance, paid an inaugural call at YICT to commence the PSX service jointly operated by Hanjin and Senator Lines. The service arrives at YICT every Sunday and sails to Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Pusan, Long Beach, Oakland and Kaohsiung. This is the fourth weekly US Service of United Alliance calling at YICT. "Hanjin Paris", the fifth generation container vessel, is 279 metres long. Its shipping capacity is 5,302 TEU.

Furthermore, United Alliance has changed its another US Service name from PNX to PDN. Its arrival time at YICT and ports of calling have been adjusted as well. On 9 March, "Hanjin Valencia" of Hanjin berthed at YICT, which was the first vessel arrived after being renamed.  According to the revised schedule, the PDN service calls at YICT every Friday with a new routing of Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Colombo, Port Klang, Yantian, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Pusan, Seattle, Vancouver, Kwangyang and Singapore. "Hanjin Valencia" is 289.5 metres long with shipping capacity of 4,024 TEU.
