On 27 November 2009, China's Ministry of Commerce and the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment named YICT a "National Excellent Taxpaying and Turnover Performance Enterprise with Foreign Investment" for 2008. The appraisal was organised by the Shenzhen Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment.
The award is given to foreign-invested enterprises that show superior economic performance. This is the fifth year that YICT has received the award.
