On 5 March 2009, YICT welcome the Dragon Service operated by MSC. A total of eleven 8,000-plus-TEU vessels have been deployed to this European express service, which calls at Yantian every Monday.
Since the end of last year, MSC has improved and restructured its Far East-Europe service network. The restructured Dragon Service follows a port rotation of Singapore, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Dalian, Xingang, Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Fuzhou, Yantian, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Singapore, Salalah, Gioia Tauro, Naples, La Spezia, Fos-sur-Mer, Barcelona, Valencia, Jeddah, Salalah and Jebel Ali.
