On 30 July 2012, a total of 12 students and teachers from Dahaicun Hope Primary School took part in a five-day Summer Camp organised by YICT. YICT has been holding this annual programme since 2005 to reward Dahaicun schoolchildren who excelled academically in the last school year. This year, the students were invited by Tianxin Primary School in Yantian District to learn calligraphy and stage performances together with Tianxin students. Through this programme, students from vastly different backgrounds were able to make new friends and learn about things beyond their classroom walls.
