On 7 August 2012, Patrick Lam, Managing Director of YICT, had a seminar with students from Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and Shenzhen University (SZU) that took part in YICT’s summer internship programme this year.

At the interactive talks, Mr. Lam was happy to share his experience from his school days through to his career, giving the students valuable insights into working in the industry. Topics like how to improve learning abilities, how to develop a good EQ, and how to choose a career, were warmly discussed during the talks.

On 23 July, YICT's summer internship programme received a group of 24 students from DMU and SZU. The three-week programme involved the study of terminal operations flow, research of enterprise management and experience of corporate culture.  This is the sixth consecutive year that YICT has held the summer internship programme for DMU and SZU students.
