On 9 December 2015, YICT held an award ceremony to honour four staff members who were named National Excellent Technicians.
The National Excellent Technician designation was launched in 1995 to recognise outstanding workers who exhibit professionalism and leading-edge expertise. Five hundred and ninety-nine winners of national and international vocational skill competitions held between 2011 and 2014 were awarded the title this year by the PRC’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Four YICT staff members and one contract worker received such award, a remarkable achievement in the maritime industry.
This award is another evidence of the company’s commitment to people development. YICT keeps nurturing industry expertise, thereby making an important contribution to the economic and technological development of Shenzhen and the region.
