The 11th China (Shenzhen) International Logistics and Transportation Fair (CILF) was held from 12 to 14 October 2016 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre. YICT joined the event to promote its status as "A Smart, Green and World-class Port", highlighting its geographical advantages, intelligent technologies, advanced facilities and green port initiatives.
In 2016, YICT has continued to make breakthroughs in a number of key areas. In recognition of its state-of-the-art operating facilities and service excellence, it has received six awards including “Container Terminal with Annual Throughput Exceeding 12 Million TEU in China” from the Container Branch of the China Ports and Harbours Association (CPHA). YICT was also honoured with a Ports & Terminals Award at the 2016 Seatrade Maritime Awards Asia.
During the exhibition, freight forwarders, third party logistics providers, cargo owners, shipping lines, and governmental officials visited the YICT booth to learn more about the company’s latest developments and its services. Gerry Yim, CEO of Hutchison Port Holdings Trust, and Patrick Lam, Managing Director of YICT, visited the exhibition.
