As part of the Shenzhen Port Environment Day hosted by the Shenzhen Ports Association, YICT arranged a port tour for around 60 residents from 20 local families on 1 June 2017.
The residents, with ages ranging from 5 to 70, toured the wastewater treatment station, LNG gas station, electric RTGC fleet and the latest shore power facilities to get a glimpse of the efforts YICT has made in energy conservation and environmental protection. They were deeply impressed by the scale of the port operations and the multiple mega-vessels docking at the quayside.
