On 21 August 2017, Yantian joined hands with Hasbro to launch a debut ceremony for the locomotive painting with Hasbro’s New Transformers & My Little Pony at Pingyan Railway Station. Patrick Lam, Managing Director of Yantian International Container Terminals, Jeroen Speelman, Vice President of Global Supply Planning & Logistics of Hasbro Far East Ltd., and James Savagar, Chief Commercial Officer-Greater China of DAMCO were present at the event.
During the ceremony the Hasbro cartoon characters, the Transformers & My Little Pony, were revealed adorning the locomotive, giving a fresh new look to Pingyan Railway’s container train.
Hasbro is not only a long-term partner of Yantian, but also a major customer of Pingyan Railway. In addition to container rail transport, Yantian and Hasbro are partnered in a wide array of logistics solutions, such as trucking, feeder and warehousing services. Looking ahead, the two sides will continue to promote green logistics, and take advantage of new opportunities for further cooperation.
