From 23 to 25 September 2020, the China (Shenzhen) International Logistics and Transportation Fair (CILF) 2020 was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre. YANTIAN participated in the CILF with the theme of “YANTIAN, Navigate the New Era” to share the latest progress of the industry with clients.

This year, 13 exhibition areas themed as “digital empowerment, intellectual change, smart integration” were set up, presenting contents like port shipping, air cargo, express delivery, cross-border e-commerce with the focus on logistics and supply chain management in the digital era. A total of nearly 1,800 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, and more than 70 forums and activities were held both online and offline.

During the exhibition, representatives from shipping lines, cargo owners, freight forwarders, third-party logistics providers, government and port sector visited the booth of YANTIAN to exchange ideas with each other. Patrick Lam, Managing Director of Hutchison Ports Yantian, attended the event.

As the preferred port-of-call for mega vessels in South China, YANTIAN is an important gateway for the import and export trade of China, serving about one-third of the total import and export container traffic generated in Guangdong Province. YANTIAN has partnership with about 40 of the world’s largest shipping companies, providing approximately 100 weekly services to the major ports around the globe. Among the weekly services, there are more than 30 routes to America and 10 of them are express routes, which can meet the demand of speedy shipping of cross-border e-commerce goods. The services of fast vessels and dedicated routes also make YANTIAN a terminal-of-choice for cross-border e-commerce in South China.
