On 23 October 2007, Yanpai Highway Extension opened for traffic. The south-to-north road allows container trucks to leave YICT's Gatehouse A directly via Yanpai Highway before entering the intercity road network. The temporary bridge, used by trucks to leave the terminal before the opening of the extension, will be dismantled soon.
