Five Shipping Lines Jointly Launch a New Europe Service at YICT

On 19th February 2003, Hanjin’s “Hanjin Amsterdam” made an inaugural call at YICT to commence the CEX Europe Service operated by Hanjin, Senator, COSCO, “K”Line, and Yang Ming.  On the same day, the PDNW service operated by Hanjin, Senator and COSCO ceased calling at YICT.

The new service calls at Yantian every Wednesday with the rotation of Tokyo, Xingang, Busan, Yantian, Port Klang, Suez Canal, Hamburg, Rotterdam and Felixstowe. “Hanjin Amsterdam”, the inaugural vessel, is 278.8 metres long with a shipping capacity of 5,618 TEU.
