Maersk Sealand Launches New Middle-east Service

On 2 February  2003, Maersk Sealand’s vessel "Maersk Dammam" arrived at YICT, marking the commencement of the Middle-east service named TP5W.

The new service calls at Yantian every Sunday with a routing of Kwangyang, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Yantian, Pelepas, Colombo, and Jebel Ali. " Maersk Dammam ", the inaugural vessel, is 265.98 metres long with a shipping capacity of 4701 TEU.
