On the afternoon of 30 November 2002, YICT held its second Family Day onboard the Minsk aircraft carrier, which is berthed in Sha Tou Jiao. About 4,000 staff members and their families took part.
In order for the attendees to have a better understanding of the company, YICT set up a Culture Corridor to present the terminal’s history and development, the rich culture and lifestyle of the staff, and the company’s overall organisation.
YICT conducted a tour of the aircraft carrier and arranged several games for participants in the Family Day. The armaments onboard the Minsk, the professional performances, the sports programmes and the games were so popular, that guests were happy to engage in all of the various activities. At the end of the day, everyone was impressed and had a wonderful time.
YICT began its annual Family Day in 2001. The celebration has become an excellent day for the staff to enjoy themselves with their families, as well as an opportunity for the company to communicate with staff and their family members.
