On 19 November 2002, China Shipping’s vessel "CSCL FOS" arrived at YICT, marking the commencement of another US West Coast/Far-east service named AAS2.
China Shipping has deployed a fleet of six vessels on this service. The new service calls at Yantian every Tuesday with a routing of Hong Kong, Keelung, Los Angeles, Hakata, Ningbo. "CSCL FOS", the inaugural vessel, is 207.95 metres long with shipping capacity of 2,657 TEU.
