China Shipping Deploys New Service at YICT

On 11 June 2002, China Shipping's container vessel "CSCL Lianyungang" made an inaugural call to kick off its second linehaul service at YICT.

China Shipping has deployed eleven 2,500-TEU container vessels on this newly launched Asia-America-Thailand (AAT) service. This weekly service is scheduled to arrive at Yantian every Tuesday, with a calling sequence of Port Klang, Laem Chabang, Hong Kong, Yantian, Hakata, Pusan, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Seattle. Moreover, ZIM shares slots in the service as well.

On the day, China Shipping held an inaugural ceremony for AAT service at Wuzhou Guest House, Shenzhen. Mr. Li Kelin, President of China Shipping, delivered a speech to celebrate the event.
