YICT Receives Maiden Call of YML’s Largest Container Vessel YM Wellhead

YICT welcomes the inaugural call of the 14,080-TEU YM Wellhead, the largest container vessel in Yang Ming Line’s fleet

On 30 April 2015, YICT welcomed the inaugural call of the 14,080-TEU YM Wellhead, the largest container vessel in Yang Ming Line’s fleet. The vessel measures 368 metres long and 51 metres wide, with a draft of 16 metres. It is one of  the liner’s fifteen 14,000-TEU-class vessels.

The YM Wellhead is deployed on the NE7 Service, with a port rotation of Ningbo-Shanghai-Kaohsiung-Yantian-Singapore-Suez Canal-Piraeus-Rotterdam-Hamburg-Antwerp-Suez Canal-Piraeus-Ningbo. During its maiden call at YICT, a total of 1,445TEU were handled.
