YICT Receives Simultaneous Calls of Three 399-metre-long Container Vessels

On 22 May 2015, YICT was proud to host three 399-metre-long container vessels simultaneously. Among them are the 18,000-TEU Margrethe Maersk and Madison Maersk which are under Maersk Line’s Triple-E fleet, and the MSC Amsterdam, with a carrying capacity of 16, 652 TEU.
Globally, this is the first time for three mega-vessels with deadweight of over 180,000 tons to berth at a port at the same time.YICT’s capability of simultaneously handling multiple super mega-vessels is built on its natural deep-water channels and berths, advanced terminal facilities and outstanding operational efficiency.
