The Manchester Bridge makes its inaugural call at YICT

On 29 May 2015, YICT and "K" Line jointly held a ceremony to commemorate the inaugural call of its largest container vessel, the 14,000-TEU Manchester Bridge. Patrick Lam, Managing Director of YICT, was present at the event.

YICT has developed a strong partnership with "K" Line since the early days of its operations. Currently, "K" Line operates 16 weekly services at YICT, including seven North American sailings and seven European services. YICT is proud to be one of the key connections of "K" Line’s global service network.

As one of the largest container vessels in "K" Line’s fleet, the Manchester Bridge is deployed on the Asia-Europe service (NE2) under the CKYHE Alliance, together with its sister ship, the Millau Bridge.
