On 14 November 2017, Hutchison Ports Yantian (Yantian) held an unveiling ceremony to celebrate the opening of its inland depot in Heyuan, Guandong province. In attendance were Wen Wenhua, Vice Director-General of the Transport Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, and Kuang Weiyi, Vice Secretary General of Heyuan Municipal Government.
As Yantian’s third inland depot, the new facility will extend port functions to inland cargo catchment areas, thus providing efficient, safe and green logistics solutions for clients in these areas.
