On the morning of July 16, a train loaded with mechanical and electrical goods from Wuhan and Yueyang left Yueyang Lukoupu Station and arrived at YANTIAN two days later. This marks the successful operation of the intermodal service from Wuhan to Yantian Port, offering customers a new logistics channel between Wuhan and Shenzhen.
At present, YANTIAN has launched 27 intermodal services in China, covering provinces like Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou, with a total transportation capacity of up to 10,000 TEU per week.
Effective from August 1 to September 30, 2022, YANTIAN will increase the daily gate-in quota for export laden containers to 13,000.
