"If cargo were to miss its scheduled vessel, it would have to be re-declared for changing to another vessel and then wait for three or five more days before it could be loaded onto the next vessel.

On 12 June 2007, YICT officially signed an "Environmental Initiatives" Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Port of Long Beach (POLB), California, becoming the first terminal operator in Shenzhen to affect an international accord of cooperation in the field of environmental protection.
